At Wheelock and Associates Dentistry, we see ourselves as healthcare providers first and foremost. Our goal is to always bring you exceptional dental care in a healthy and safe environment, especially as we make our way through the last days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of our ongoing commitment to your safety, we have implemented every precaution recommended by the CDC, American Dental Association, and federal authorities. We ask that our patients observe the following new protocols to ensure everyone’s wellbeing:
- Patients are to remain in their vehicles and notify us through text or phone call when they’ve arrived for an appointment. When your provider is ready, we will contact you and ask you to enter the office.
- To maintain social distance, we will only allow patients with an appointment into the building. Only exceptions will be for young patients or patients who need assistance. If you require assistance from a family member or friend, we ask that you please inform us ahead of time so we can make the necessary accommodations.
- All patients are required to wear a mask or facial converging when entering the building. We DO NOT have enough to supply you with a facial covering, so you must bring your own.
- Before you enter our practice, we will take your temperature and ask a few questions about your health and recent travel history.
Beyond the above guidelines, we will keep sanitizing every surface, use protective equipment, and make every effort to make our practice as safe as possible. Our team will continue to monitor the latest trends and developments so we can adapt to any new guidelines in a timely manner. We would also like to encourage every patient to reach out to us with any questions or concerns about our protocols.
