Ryan Baller, DDS
After completing his formal education, Dr. Baller spent eight years practicing dentistry at Siouxland Community Health Center, where he served as Co-Dental Director before joining Wheelock & Associates Dentistry full-time in 2017. In early 2020, Dr. Baller and Dr. Wineland proudly took over the practice from Dr. Wheelock, carrying on its legacy of exceptional, community-focused dental care. In April of 2023, they added Bridgeview Family Dental to the family with the purchase of Dr. Buttermore’s practice in South Sioux City.
Dr. Baller is dedicated to continuing to expand his expertise as a dental professional through ongoing education. He offers digital dentistry, same-day crowns and bridges, SureSmile orthodontics, snoring and sleep apnea appliances and so much more. Dr. Baller is thrilled to continue enhancing his abilities so he can continue providing top-quality, comprehensive care to his Sioux City patients.
Dr. Baller is an active member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association and Sioux City Dental Society and has participated in the Iowa Mission of Mercy.
Outside of work, Dr. Baller and his wife, Gretchen, enjoy family time. Both of them are deeply involved in their local church and community, acting as chairpersons of Artsplash and helping with band parents of North High. They spend most of their time keeping up with their four children: Emma (a dentist in Des Moines, IA), Seneca (an Audiologist in Washington state), Brecken (soon-to-be graduate student in prosthetics and orthotics), and Daxton (high schooler with a passion for tennis, flying and all things space-related).
